AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Overview
AccuWeb provides reliable, robust, and secure cloud hosting services to small businesses and individuals.
They offer a variety of features, including 100% hardware uptime, full root access, daily and weekly backups, and your choice of the operating system.
AccuWeb’s servers are powered by vCPU processors and Enterprise-grade SSDs. They provide unlimited bandwidth and free SSL certificates.
Their cloud hosting plans start at $7.99/month for their basic plan, which includes 1GB of RAM, 1vCPU, and 30 GB of Storage. They also offer other plans with more features based on the needs of your business.
This is all excellent brochure info, though. How does it stack up in real life?
AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Pros and Cons
While AccuWeb hosting is top-notch, there are also some drawbacks to their cloud hosting platform.
AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Pros:
- AccuWeb performed extremely well with the hosting speed test
- Over the course of the month, we tested AccuWeb it had 99% uptime
- The plans are reasonably priced and offer great features
- Their customer support team is responsive and knowledgeable, which was a big plus!
AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Cons:
- The cPanel isn't extremely easy to use as a beginner
- They don't have a website builder
- They aren't the cheapest option out there for cloud hosting (although you get what you pay for).
AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Deep Dive
AccuWeb has several different plan offerings for their Cloud hosting.
- General Purpose
- Memory Optimized
- CPU Optimized
- Storage Optimized
- Cloud with Windows OS
Their General Purpose plan is the basic plan (the one we tested) and it offers 1GB of RAM, 30 GB of storage, and 1vCPU processor. Let’s see how it did! Spoiler alert, it killed it on speed.
AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Speed Review
After setting up our staging site, we left it up for a month and tested the speed throughout that timeframe. The results were better than expected.
AccuWeb’s Cloud hosting was consistently fast, loading pages in under 0.2 seconds (not bad!). According to their website, they promised fast speeds, and they delivered.

Uptime is another important factor to consider when choosing a hosting company. We tracked AccuWeb’s uptime over the course of the month, and it held up at 99%+ for the entire time.
We were impressed with this result! This means that your website won’t go offline (or even slow down significantly) due to server issues.
AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Features Review
When it comes to features and plans, AccuWeb has you covered. They offer a variety of plans to fit the needs of your website or business.

AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Ease of Use
This is one of the areas where it was lacking (for beginners). Once you get past the initial setup, AccuWeb is fairly easy to use.
But getting past the setup is where it gets tricky. The cPanel that AccuWeb uses isn’t as intuitive as some of their competitors and can take some time to get used to.
We found ourselves having to refer back to the AccuWeb’s customer support (which was great) to get things humming along.
AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Security Review
Security is always a top priority when it comes to hosting.
We were pleased to see that AccuWeb takes security seriously. All of their plans include DDoS protection and IP whitelisting, as well as detailed data reports and monitoring features.
They also use Microsoft Windows Firewall to protect their servers from malicious attacks.
Out of the hosting organizations we’ve tested over the years, we can say that AccuWeb has top marks when it comes to security.
AccuWeb Customer Support Review
AccuWeb Offers 24/7 customer support via live chat or email (no phone call support).
Remember the hiccups we hit when setting up our site? Well, AccuWeb’s customer support team was responsive and knowledgeable.
They assisted us in getting our site switched from their WordPress hosting (another review we did) to their cloud hosting.
Overall, they had a quick response time, and when they didn’t get back to us after hours, they quickly followed up in the morning.
AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Free SSL
While AccuWeb offers free SSL certificates on their other hosting plans, unfortunately, the Cloud hosting plans do not include a free SSL.
AccuWeb Website Builder
Unfortunately, AccuWeb does not have a website builder. We recommend checking out our Bluehost review if you’re looking for an easy-to-use builder.
Is AccuWeb's Cloud Hosting Good for Business?
Overall, AccuWeb’s Cloud hosting is great for business websites due to its fast speeds and reliable uptime. Plus, the security features offered are top-notch.
The only real drawback would be the lack of free SSL on the Cloud plans. However, getting an SSL certificate from your domain registrar isn’t too expensive.
Furthermore, we recommend having someone who’s (slightly) tech-savvy when setting up the cloud hosting. After setup, it should be easy to manage by any business owner.
AccuWeb Cloud Hosting Final Verdict
AccuWeb’s cloud hosting offers fast speeds, great uptime, and secure servers. It is also easy to use after the initial setup hiccups.
The customer support team is knowledgeable and responsive, despite no phone support.
